The Saint Sebastian Sports Project (SSSP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and supporting sports programs at Catholic schools, particularly in underserved communities.By providing financial assistance and resources, SSSP aims to ensure that all students have the opportunity to participate in organized sports, promoting physical health, academic achievement, and social development.
Key Objectives:
Financial Support:SSSP offers grants to Catholic schools to help cover expenses related to sports programs, including uniforms, coaching stipends, equipment, and league fees.
Program Development:Beyond financial aid, SSSP organizes coaching clinics, tournaments, college visit days, soccer camps, and leadership academies to enrich the athletic experience for students and educators.
Community Engagement:By collaborating with schools across Los Angeles, SSSP fosters a sense of community and belonging among students, encouraging teamwork, leadership, and personal growth through sports.
The organization is named after Saint Sebastian, the patron saint of athletes, archers, and soldiers, reflecting its commitment to promoting physical fitness and moral fortitude.
Through its comprehensive support, the Saint Sebastian Sports Project strives to level the playing field for students in Catholic schools, ensuring they reap the numerous benefits associated with athletic participation.

Our mission: to give every child – regardless of family income – the chance to learn the skills, experience the growth, and share in the joy of participating in a school sports team.
Founded in 2009, we currently provide resources and offer special programs to support sports teams in 60 inner city Catholic Schools in Los Angeles. Since inception, we have enabled more than 10,000 children to benefit from the life-changing experience of playing on a sports team.
Catholic Youth Organization
Catholic Youth Organization of Los Angeles manages and operates interscholastic sports for 170 Catholic elementary schools throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. CYO-LA is a operating unit of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc.

Complete the forms online and email them to the Athletic Director or Principal
Step 2: Fees required. Please pay the $90 Athletic Fee for your sports season. You may request a FACTS charge or pay your fee in the office via cash, check or card.
(This fee helps cover the cost of referees, facilities, tournament fees and general athletic supplies)
